Intense feelings of anxiety and nervousness, coupled with uncontrollable rapid breathing patterns and chest pains are the usual symptoms that people think about when referring to panic attacks. But a difference in vision and slight adrenaline is also a common perceptual symptom that people may mistakenly overlook. Having multi-person conversations in your head about ‘what if’ situations is also a common behavior, especially for people who are too anxious to speak up in reality.

There are many venues of treatment for panic attacks, the most common being cognitive-behavioral therapy or medication. The first step of overcoming panic disorder is to recognize that what you have, and to take the necessary steps to stop panic attacks from occurring. The majority of people who overcome anxiety know that supporting thoughts and feelings that trigger the attacks are the real issues that need to be resolved. Being able to talk about how you feel is a good way to understand the feelings and emotions that you are going through.
